Job Description
The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role acts as a strong presence on the floor during show times and HISTORY's Private Events. They are the main liaison between the venue and the tour's VIP Experience representative, are the DOS contact for merchdanise operations, a contact for the Event Staff departments, while assisting as needed throughout the venue.
Additional responsibilities will be managing HISTORY's cleaning and maintenance department, moving furniture based on the specific show needs, and assisting in guest resolutions relating to ticketing, venue flow, and seating.
In the event of shows where a merch split agreement is established, this role is accountable for all count ins and out signing off on settlements, organizing wire payments and safely ensure all cash is documented and secured in the venue vault.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Set up venue to execute all VIP Experiences (check-in table w/ linen, chair, staffing, early entry, Meet & Greets) This includes creating and sending invoices to tour representatives.
• Communicate with cleaners as needed throughout the show for prompt clean ups
• Assists with floor supervision
• Assists where needed throughout the venue during show time
• Main contact for incoming tour merchandise manager
• Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies
• Executes Security credential process for the venue , when applicable
• Performs routine furniture inspections, arrange and monitor repairs as needed with relevant vendors
• Supports Director of Operations and Operations Manager in event duties

Additional Responsibilities:
• Wrangles media on-site while communicating with PM and Tour personnel for show specific rules, in absence of Media Wrangler
• Perform merch count-ins and count-outs (alongside the tour) ensuring all SKU amounts coming into the venue are accurate (when applicable)
• Facilitate tours needs: providing sellers, credit card processing, POS Square readers, cash floats (when requested)
• Filling out internal venue settlement sheet for every event with merch sales (when applicable)
• Reconciles any discrepancies between tour and venue settlements (when applicable)
• Count cash owing to venue, predetermined in original offer sheet.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting
