THE ROLE
The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Jr. Analyst is a critical member of Live Nation's global Cyber Defense and Incident Response (CDIR) team. This Jr. Analyst role supports the collection, analysis, and dissemination of threat intelligence to enhance the organization's situational awareness and defensive posture. Working under the guidance of senior CTI staff, the Junior Analyst will assist in monitoring threat actor activity, enriching alerts with contextual intelligence, and contributing to Live Nation's global threat landscape visibility.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Monitor internal and external threat intelligence feeds for emerging threats relevant to Live Nation
• Enrich SOC alerts with contextual threat intelligence for improved triage and response
• Track campaigns, phishing kits, and malware trends across the entertainment industr
• Assist in drafting internal threat reports, summaries, and IOC packages
• Maintain and update IOC repositories and watchlists in collaboration with Detection Engineering
• Participate in weekly threat landscape reviews and team briefing
• Work with the Detection and Response teams to identify intelligence gaps
• Escalate significant findings to senior CTI analysts and leadership
• Assist with ongoing investigations and help correlate indicators with known threat actor behavior
• Regularly review CTI training materials, frameworks (MITRE, NIST, etc.), and tooling
• Complete task-based assignments designed to strengthen intelligence lifecycle understanding
• Take part in workshops and tabletop exercises focused on adversary emulation and hunting
• Perform deep dive analysis of malicious artifacts
• Analyze large and unstructured data sets to identify trends and anomalies indicative of malicious activities
• Create security techniques and automation for internal use that enable efficient intelligence broadcasting
• Participate in collaborative projects with Detection, Response, and Engineering teams
• Prioritize collection tasks and reporting deadlines based on team direction
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING (REQUIRED)
• 1–2 years of experience in a cybersecurity, SOC, or intelligence-related field (internship or academic experience accepted)
• Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts, indicators of compromise, and adversary behavior frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to conduct structured OSINT and technical research
• Willingness to contribute to internal/external CTI reporting and briefings
• Clear written communication with an emphasis on structured reporting and IOC formatting
• Ability to track threat campaigns, trends, and patterns over time and maintain structured records of adversary activity
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), TIPs (Threat Intelligence Platforms), or EDR tools
• Understanding of major threat actor groups and common malware families
Experience with public CTI sources (e.g., AlienVault OTX, VirusTotal, Shodan, ThreatFox)
• Certifications such as Security+, GCTI, or Threat Intelligence Analyst (TIP) training are a plus
• Ability to perform open-source research (OSINT) to identify relevant threats and campaigns
• Capable of summarizing technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and threat feeds
• Knowledge of network and endpoint-based indicators (IP addresses, hashes, domain names, Tactic Techniques Procedures)
• Understanding of current cyber threat landscape and motivations behind threat actors actions
• Ability to read and understand code

The expected compensation for this position is:
$84,000.00 USD - $105,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
