We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Toronto. You will play a key role in driving a people-first culture across our organization. Acting as an internal partner on HR programs and initiatives, this role bridges people and process to strengthen both the employee experience and organizational effectiveness. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Partner with HR leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and operational plans
• Manage onboarding and offboarding for employees, providing an excellent employee experience including; coordinating IT set up, reviewing benefit package, collecting new hire documentation
• Conduct 30/90 day check-ins with new employees
• Support the planning and execution of local culture-building initiatives and events including collaboration with the office's social committee and participation in engagement programs
• Conduct exit interviews and summarize insights for HR leadership and Management
• Responsible for conducting thorough, impartial investigations and documenting findings with clarity and precision while making recommendations to HR Leadership and Management
• Provide day-to-day HR support on matters including coaching conversations, performance concerns and policy interpretation
• Support the end-to-end management of Leaves of Absence with empathy and accuracy, including return-to-work and modified duty programs
• Track and report incidents and injuries ensuring compliance with H&S reporting
• Co-lead Corporate JHSC, ensuring standards are established and continually improved over time
• Manage workers' compensation claim intake, documentation, and coordination with third-party administrators
• Responsible for preparing and managing employee documentation and official communications throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with company policies
• Serves as the main point of contact for general employee inquires across office and venue teams, providing timely and accurate support with a solutions-oriented approach
• Oversee HRIS administration through Workday, including setting up new employees, terminating employees, updating data and pulling analytics report and general tasks, in order to maintain accurate data and reporting for annual compliance audits
• Coordinate vacation and extended absences administration including tracking, reconciliation and reporting monthly balances
• Remain current with industry standards, legislative changes, and Human Resource best practices, ensuring Live Nation Canada remains compliant with Ontario Labour Laws
• Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist on recruitment efforts, from time to time
Requirements:
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to employee relations, policy, and compliance
• Proven experience conducting workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and managing disciplinary actions and terminations in compliance with laws and company policies
• Experience analyzing data, reporting data accurately and identifying trends
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, proactively solve problems, and meet time-critical deadlines
• Highly organized with strong written communication and documentation skills, including documentation, reporting and presenting information to leaders
• Excellent communication skills with capability to engage internally and externally at all levels

• Ability to thrive in an innovative environment with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Workday preferred

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
