Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Marketing Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Marketing Director and Casinos Marketing Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete artist research and acquiring/ordering/proofing/trafficking advertising materials
• Assist Marketing Director and Casinos Marketing Team with creating and maintaining various weekly show performance trackers, ticket counts and recaps
• Manage department invoicing system with entry, coding and tracking
• Work with department to write media alerts and social copy for local media distribution, online outlets, and casino client webpages
• Manage creative jobs with client management workflow systems
• Manage website builds and updates including copywriting and image placement with client management workflow systems
• Manage social media content calendar and work with clients on copywriting for social media ads/posts/giveaways/content, street team campaigns, and ticket giveaways
• Coordinate flow of information though proper facets (i.e., to Director, marketing team, Casino team, etc.)
• Research and keep up to date with assigned areas' relevant events/concerts, media outlets, websites, blogs, radio stations, radio playlists, and demographics
• Internal teamwork, meetings, and recapping
• Provide general administrative support – organizing show files, budgets, ticket counts, calendar management, mail, etc.)
• Additional general administrative support and other duties as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Undergraduate degree or professional experience equivalent preferred
• Experience in marketing, advertising, communications, and digital/social advertising preferred
• Passionate about the music industry, including extensive knowledge of national music scene and artists in order to provide solid support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good telephone skills; good listening skills; share information appropriately, with tact and diplomacy
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Detail oriented and able to perform job accurately and thoroughly
• Reliability – able to see tasks, ideas, or projects through, from start to finish, as well as meet deadlines and budgets
• Good time management skills
• Good planning and organization skills – use organized approach to job responsibilities and able to multi-task and set priorities
• Creativity – use independent and original thought and initiative to improve processes or solve problems
