JOB DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Bowl Williamsburg & Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia are seeking a shared Booking Assistant to assist the Director of Booking and Talent Buyer team with day to day operations for booking across both 900 capacity venues. The role will be based in New York. The Director of Booking & Talent Buy work across both venues and markets. The Booking Assistant will have the opportunity to assist an experience Talent Buying team booking and producing more than 550 concerts per year. Successful people in this role will thrive in a non-traditional work environment, can easily and successfully transition from one task to another, have a strong work ethic and understand the importance of their contribution to making the team successful.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interface with all parties (venue, buyers) to verify availabilities and build calendar(s) of event(s)
• Manage internal documentation using internal booking systems, calendars and ticketing schedules
• Compile and maintain all event show folders with contracts and general event correspondence, including final artist and venue settlement information
• Gather and distribute show confirmations, information and updates to venues, staff and artist teams
• Maintain and update calendar of events for several venues; make travel arrangements and handle expenses
• Assist Talent Buyers in the building of artist deal sheets for submittal to appropriate artist agency/management for review and discussion
• Manage artist final settlement communications and aid in ticket counts
• Provide general administrative support and perform diversified administrative duties; prioritize and manage projects with minimal supervision
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain organized, with attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of 2 years experience as an assistant preferred
• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook (including group scheduling) and well-versed in Excel and database programs and ability to work with accounting and financial departments
• Ability to navigate internal sales admin system for most daily tasks
• Ability to navigate the internet as a communication and research tool
• Professional level of verbal and written communication skills
• Fast learning with a strong work ethic and a high sense of responsibility in an ever-changing environment
• Must be able to handle sensitive matters and exercise excellent judgment
• Ability to work independently and within a team to juggle multiple prioritized tasks
• Experience with contracts a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Eagerness to support others (in venue and office)
• Ability to multi-task in a fluid and busy environment
• Passionate about live music and the music industry
Compensation
New York City Hiring Range**: $50,000-55,000

The expected compensation for this position is:
$23.74 USD - $29.68 USD Hourly
