Summary of Position

Lionsgate is seeking a Manager, Learning and Development to join the HR team in the Santa Monica office. This position will report to the Executive Director, Learning and Development (L&D) also located in the Santa Monica office. The Learning and Engagement (L&D) Manager will design, deliver, and manage L&D programs and events for the broader organization, as well as organize onsite programming for Santa Monica employees.

Responsibilities
• Facilitate professional development workshops, team development workshops, leadership development workshops, and other employee development workshops year-round (including but not limited to the Leadership Development Program, Performance Conversation Workshops, Intern Manager Training, Inclusive Hiring Training, #IAR Workshops)

• Design live, in-person and virtual workshops, create e-learning content, and other learning materials to guide employees with building soft-skills and technical skills

• Design and manage logistics for virtual/in-person workshops and events, including set-up/clean-up for onsite events

• Manage the company-wide Mentoring Program including the application process, facilitating discussion sessions, and ensuring all milestones are met

• Serve as point person on maximizing use of LMS (Bridge) and other online learning platforms (as well as creating and adding content and guiding additional stakeholders on adding content to Bridge)

• Build out marketing materials to promote L&D events/workshops for each annual cycle of an existing program/the launch of new programs

• Support L&D Exec. Director with additional ad-hoc L&D projects, logistics, and content development (e.g., research, building decks, guides, etc.)

• Connect with vendors to maintain/update existing L&D programs

• Partner with larger Lionsgate Life (LG Life) team on all staff communications and programming

• Partner and work closely with various members of our HR team (LG Life, HR Business Partners, HRIS, DEI) as well as IT and other departments to ensure the Learning & Engagement programs are being utilized, optimized, and business needs are being met

• Support with employee questions

• Collaborate with all offices with additional company-wide L&E projects, as needed, includes occasional travel to Denver office

• Assist with additional projects and research, as requested

Qualifications & Skills
• 4+ years of work experience (Learning & Development, OD Consulting, HR, or related areas)

• Dynamic speaker and facilitator

• Comfortable working with and presenting to all levels of employees

• Experienced in instructional design for adult learners

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and willing to go the extra mile to deliver effective results

• Excellent time management skills – ability to be proactive, prioritize, and meet deadlines

• Collaborative and adaptable to changing team and business needs

• Strong project management skills with high attention to detail

• Highly skilled in MS PowerPoint with ability to design visually appealing materials

• Skilled in Excel

• College degree preferred (Psychology, HR, or similar field)

• Master's degree in Organizational Psychology preferred

• Instructional Design Certification preferred
