Summary of Position
Lionsgate is looking for a Manager, Global Marketing Strategy who will directly report to the Executive Director, Global Marketing Strategy. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and a strong foundation in domestic and/or international film marketing. Candidates should have an understanding of marketing language/terms, and an eager demeanor with semi-flexible work hours, as this role sometimes requires commitment beyond the regular 9-5 given nature of the work.
Responsibilities
• Work with Strategy team as well as Research & Analytics team to compose global marketing campaign strategies for a wide variety of titles across varying distribution models
• Manage communication of marketing strategy and material debuts between internal teams, international distributors, as well as executives and filmmakers as needed
• Communicate with creative and digital teams on timing and status of all marketing materials
• Maintain strong, communicative relationships with international distributors to ensure execution of distributor requests, campaign, and asset needs are met for Lionsgate and third-party titles
• Work closely with Marketing Operations team on localizing & distributing assets for successful worldwide debuts
• Collect and track local titles, marketing material release status, and feedback from international distributors
• Service all marketing assets (trailers, clips, TV spots, featurettes, social assets, posters, outdoor, home entertainment assets) to international distributors
• Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Creative, and Publicity teams to streamline internal processes
• Prepare for annual film markets and sales initiatives by assisting in development of sales materials, creating timelines and contributing to strategy decks
• Manages asset requests and deliveries with Coordinator, including but not limited to Campaign Briefs, Marketing Playbooks, Trailer Debuts, Sales Decks, etc. and routes to Team Lead for further collaboration
• Assist in development of internal and external marketing decks, and in presentation of them as needed
Qualifications and Skills
• 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in marketing and comprehensive understanding of executing marketing campaigns
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to partner with multiple teams
• Superb work ethic, organizational skills, patience, and positive can-do attitude
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft and Abode suites, as well as experience with workflow platforms such as MS Teams and Monday.com
