HR Coordinator (Motion Picture Group + Corporate)
Summary of Position
Lionsgate is seeking a Coordinator, Human Resources, to support the VP, HR Business Partner - Motion Picture Group (MPG) and VP, HR Business Partner – Corporate. In partnership with the VPs, the role provides strategic Human Resources support across Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group and Corporate functions. This role offers an exciting blend of Human Resources support, with opportunities to contribute to a variety of objectives and to serve as a central HR point of contact for the Motion Picture Group and Corporate functions.

Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to the VPs acting as a liaison between HR and the Motion Picture Group and Corporate functions:
• Schedule meetings, handle travel arrangements, complete expense reporting, and execute a variety of other administrative tasks
• At the direction of the VPs, the Coordinator provides support across MPG and Corporate functions:
• Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support all recruitment efforts, ensuring job descriptions are properly created and/or updated and that new positions are created/updated/routed within Success Factors, Lionsgate's Human Capital Management (HCM) software
• Partner with the business to field and fulfill requests for the placement of contingent workers including: on-boarding, off-boarding, invoice processing, and data entry
• Coordinate various employee life-cycle actions, including but not limited to coordinating incoming new hire requests, maintaining the orientation tracker, conducting 30-day check-ins for early career employees, the exit communication and scheduling process, and the creation and delivery of promotion letters
• Complete and submit EDD claims, maintain and update employee files, and conduct monthly I-9 audits for MPG & Corporate functions
• Manage system aspects for all employee changes, including the creation of new positions, promotions, and terminations
• Organize and maintain Human Resources files to ensure easy access to up-to-date HR documents (code of conduct, policies, etc.)
• Track completion of mandatory trainings and follow up with teams to ensure outstanding training is completed
• Manage accommodation requests, ensuring all documentation is compiled, filed, and trackers have been updated, and aid in the communication, tracking, and verification of various documentation
• Maintain Employee Relations Case Management System to ensure that all confidential HR files are organized and accessible (conflict of interest forms, investigation summaries, incident reports)
• Report on Employee Relations trends to identify patterns, and partner with VPs to suggest future preventative measures or improvements
• Further memorialize HR processes and procedures via process maps
• Ad hoc responsibilities as requested in support of the team's initiatives and overall success
• Participate in broader HR projects in support of operational process improvements

Qualifications and Skills
• 1-2 years of administrative experience
• Must have strong interest in a long-term career in Human Resources
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Proven skills building & maintaining professional relationships at all levels of the organization, and with outside partners
• Must be flexible and willing to work outside of business hours
• Good judgment and decision-making skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Works well in dynamic, team-oriented environment
Nice to Haves
• Previous experience working in human resources
• Familiarity with Success Factors, Concur, Airtable, First Advantage, and/or Labor Soft
