Summary of Position

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Director, Global Consumer Products. This role will report into the VP, Brand Creative, Global Products & Experiences.

Responsibilities
• Day-to-day management of licensee portfolio, including the Lionsgate Shop, working with the studio's global consumer products agent, product development team, finance, legal, retail and creative

• Manage key retail relationships across Global Products & Experiences and develop retail programs and promotions to support licensing initiatives

• Support development of licensed digital and physical merchandise programs by identifying, pitching, negotiating and securing deals across all product categories globally to drive revenue in support of studio theatrical, television and catalog titles

• Work closely with internal team to develop and execute program strategy by property and retail channel

• Prepare quarterly forecasts and track product launches and sales results

• Interface with legal team to ensure smooth flow of contracts from initial draft to final execution

• Support review and approval process with talent, filmmakers and key stakeholders

• Contribute feedback and brand direction on visual assets, product mockups, packaging, and marketing collateral as relevant to franchise strategy and brand guidelines

• Oversee creation of sales & promotional materials as needed for sales and partner agency

• Maintain awareness of industry, fashion, and consumer trends, socializing learnings on a regular basis with peers and stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills
• BS/BA degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of consumer products experience; marketing/licensing/product/brand management in studio, agency, manufacturer/licensee, or entertainment marketing environment a plus

• Basic understanding of budget and forecast reports

• Experienced negotiator

• Strong knowledge PPT and Excel; Adobe Creative Suite a plus

• Business development identifying new licensees, categories and trends

Compensation

$95,000 – $125,000 annually
