Job Description
Summary of PositionLionsgate is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will be focused on Learning and Engagement initiatives as well as additional support the Englewood HR team. The position will be based out of the Englewood, Colorado office, and will report into the Executive Director, Learning and Organizational Development (in Santa Monica), and the Executive Director, HR Business Partner (in Englewood).
Responsibilities
• Support Learning & Development and Employee Engagement programming and initiatives including but not limited to planning, marketing, scheduling, system maintenance and updating, reporting, research, and form processing
• Support Learning & Development and Employee Engagement events by scheduling, setting up/clean-up, preparing orders and materials, managing RSVPs, supporting with workshop activities, and sending recap emails
• Support the onboarding process (including but not limited to New Hire paperwork, I-9 verification, delivering Orientation, new hire training assignment, new hire survey)
• Process invoices and track expenses
• Assist in creation of intranet updates and employee communications (newsletter, event invitations, program pushes, etc.)
• Support with employee questions and organizing the HR inboxes
• Assist with additional projects and research throughout the year
Qualifications & Skills
• 1-2 years of prior experience with a strong interest in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Human Resources, or related space
• Must have high attention to detail and be in excellent multi-tasker
• Ability to anticipate team needs and respond accordingly in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and friendly and open demeanor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• College degree preferred
Nice to Haves
• Experience working with Canva, BananaTag (Staffbase), GoAnimate (Vyond)
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (Bridge Learn)
• Highly skilled in Excel (vLookups, Pivot tables) and PowerPoint (knowledge of master slides, templates, etc.)
• College degree in Organizational Psychology, HR, or similar field
• Prior HR experience
