Summary of Position
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an Assistant in the International Motion Picture Sales Group department. This position will report directly to the COO of the International Motion Picture Sales Group.
Responsibilities
• Schedule meetings, handle phones, travel arrangements, expense reporting and other administrative tasks for a small team.
• Learn and document department policies/procedures and deal terms and serve as a knowledgeable resource for the team and other departments.
• Draft and update deal and sales summaries.
• Assist with preparation of legal documents; drafting routine letters, notices, and other correspondence.
• Correspond with international distributors to gather and log release theatrical dates, P&A budgets, home entertainment dates and release plans for all media.
• Prepare and issue periodic reports, including territories Info, competitive environments, release schedules, P&A and home entertainment chase reports, title overviews and box office summaries.
• Log and file royalty statements.
• Assist with logistics of sales markets.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
• Four-year college degree required.
• Previous exposure to business and legal issues related to the acquisition, licensing and distribution of content a strong plus.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and independently prioritize work, and possess excellent organizational and tracking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills, and ability to problem solve independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Docusign.
