Job Description

Join the KRON 4 team in the world class city of San Francisco! We are searching for a host for our 'LIVE in the Bay' lifestyle show. The show is segment and interview based, highlighting events and unique stories here in the Bay Area. This position is responsible for hosting and producing, including enterprising ideas, and creating content that reflects life in Northern California. Requires dynamic anchoring, interviewing and ad-libbing skills along with the ability to shoot and edit as needed. Must have strong editorial judgement.

This is a regular, full-time, union position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Interview guests in a sometimes non-scripted, lifestyle show environment.
• Knowledge of current events, popular culture, and compelling subjects in the Bay Area
• Plan and produce a quality show through creative segments, interviews, and production elements such as graphics, video and pictures.
• Research show topics and develop questions for guest interviews.
• Assist producer with writing show segments and booking daily guests.
• Assist with daily show social media posts and online web content.
• Participate in events - either station sponsored or others - to promote the show.
• Participate in presentations to key clients of the show.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in film, photography, television, news, or related field, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 3 years on-air experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have the ability to write, shoot and edit.
• Ability to develop story ideas, research, and plan segments.
• Familiarity with ENPS and Adobe Premier Editing System
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines.
• Must be able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Must possess a team player, can-do spirit, all-in mentality, and desire to win!
• Must maintain a professional image, and represent the show, our station and the company positively on and off the air.

Compensation: $101,401+/Annually to commensurate with experience and skill level
