News Production Assistant (PT)

KGAN has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant who will be responsible for preparing for AM Newscasts! This is a great entry-level position for someone looking to launch a career in news, television, or various digital and social roles.

Responsibilities include:
• Operate Deko, Audio or Camera for our Morning Newscast
• Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
• Prepare all fonts to air during newscast
• Studio and set preparation
• Maintaining studio
• Lighting
• Tape Editing for newscasts
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:
• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
• Training will be provided

General Hours: 4am to 9am M-F
• Other hours as needed, on occasion
