Job Summary:

KFDA, Newschannel10, the market leader is looking for a Weekend Anchor and weekday Reporter/MMJ to join our winning team here in Amarillo, Texas. We are looking for a good story teller who wants to work in a winning environment.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

We are searching for a driven journalist for the role of Weekend Anchor and day-side news reporter. You will be an integral part of the top news team in the area, bringing unique local stories, from enterprising ideas to telling polished, effective stories live on-air and digital platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Reporting and anchoring experience in a working newsroom is a must!
- Ability to write clear and impactful scripts and communicate effectively live on-air
- Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing news landscape
- A four-year degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent professional experience
