Job Description
KDAF CW33 Dallas/Fort Worth (DMA #5), and KIAH CW39 Houston (DMA #9), seek a National Sales Manager (NSM). This single position will lead the national sales effort in both markets. This position may office in either Dallas or Houston. The NSM will have the support of a sales assistant team located in both Dallas and Houston. In conjunction with CoxReps, the NSM will use the station inventory and strong relationships to maximize share. Travel will be necessary to foster and grow these relationships. Strong sales ability and an enterprising attitude is necessary as the NSM will also target zero-share and low-share accounts.

Job Description

The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the National Sales department, including development of new business and achievement of revenue goals.
• Work with our national rep firm, CoxReps, in both markets.
• Directs the efforts of the national sales assistants
• Develops and executes sales strategies which result in exceeding national and digital revenue.
• Drives new national business development of both linear television and digital.
• Manages inventory and revenue forecasting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirement & Skills
• Minimum five years' broadcast sales experience. National sales management experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
• Travel is required.
