Job Title: Account Executive – Premium Sales

Job Summary: The Kansas City Royals are seeking a motivated, experienced sales professional with a passion for sports. In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the overall growth of the ticket sales department while focusing on premium spaces within Kauffman Stadium. This role will proactively pursue new business by targeting corporations and high net worth individuals within the greater KC Metro, primarily focused on all club & premium ticketing and premium hospitality products. These products include but are not limited to CommunityAmerica Crown Club, Diamond Club, Season Ticket memberships, varied suite options, and corporate group outings. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales targets.

Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Maximize new business revenue generation opportunities for the Royals through year-round efforts to sell new premium season ticket membership products emphasizing multi-year suite leases, Diamond Club and CommunityAmerica Crown Club membership packages, as well larger corporate group and suite outings.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual and department sales goals as set by management.
• Execute new business campaigns through multi-channel outreach, consultative sales meetings, presentations and diligent follow through.
• Generate revenue through prospecting, progressive cold-calling, referrals and leveraging of relationships.
• Maintain accurate client information and log interactions within the Royals CRM and Ticketing Systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
• Minimum of two years of successful sales experience in sports, media, and/or direct sales is required, premium sales experience within sports, entertainment or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with VP/Director Level Executives
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proven ability to identify and engage business prospects across various industries including potential new corporate and personal clients.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude, high level of integrity and strong work ethic.
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handles multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products, experience with Tickets.com, MLB Ballpark App and Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
• Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends coinciding with the Royals season schedule and client events.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds
• Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Full-Time, Exempt opportunity that is eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. This role is expected to have a standard 40-hour work week.
