Independent Artist Group (IAG) was launched upon the merger of Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) and Artist Group International (AGI) in the summer of 2023. What We Are Looking For
This position will assist an Agent in our Scripted Literary Department as well as participate in supporting the Agency's roster of writers, production companies, IP, and high-profile producer clients. The position requires a communicative and attentive individual who can take initiative while learning on the job.
Duties
• Rolling calls, managing calendars, and taking notes
• Booking/coordinating travel
• Drafting bookings and invoices
• Managing departmental records/databases, and cross-departmental grids
• Communicating with high-profile studio/network executives, producers, and managers while understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
• Maintaining and tracking expenses
• Reading scripts

• Strong organizational skills: impeccable ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail: resourceful, proactive, reliable, trustworthy, and assertive
• Impeccable follow-through: the ability to initiate projects, develop timelines, and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain discretion and a high level of confidentiality
Education And Experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or 1-2 years' of professional experience
• Prior agency and/or management experience is a plus, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Experience reading and covering scripts and books is a plus
