SUMMARY
Hulu’s Consumer and Market Insights team is seeking a Strategic Insights Analyst who will be an outstanding addition to our team. In this role, you will contribute to and often manage research initiatives around subscriber growth as well as audience, product and content strategy. This role will work closely with Consumer Insights Managers in designing research, analyzing and interpreting different types of data and translating it into meaningful and compelling insights. The right person for this role is someone passionate about bringing the voice of the consumer to the boardroom and who is comfortable juggling multiple complex projects at once. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Plan and execute quantitative and qualitative research studies (i.e. questionnaire development, programming and testing surveys, analyzing data, and producing reports).
• Write questionnaires, manage timelines, work with various internal databases and syndicated tools, analyze raw data, create reports from scratch as well as present and share those results to various partners.
• Manage our online research community by facilitating its day-to-day operations and supporting team members to execute research studies and provide timely insights to partners.
• Coordinate with research partners, ensuring processes are running efficiently.
• Synthesize primary and secondary data from multiple data sources to tell a holistic story. Partner with other data reporting teams outside of Consumer Insights, when applicable.

WHAT TO BRING
• 3+ years of custom research project experience, preferably at a market research supplier or entertainment provider
• Experience with executing research projects with a high degree of autonomy (timelines, questionnaire design, data collection and analysis, reporting)
• Familiarity with a variety of market research methodologies and their applications
• Comfortable working with large datasets
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and can work independently
• Maniacal about quality and high integrity research
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to distill data into a clean and concise story
• Team player with the ability to build good rapport with both internal and external clients
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills and familiarity with survey programming tools like Qualtrics or SurveyGizmo

NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience with non-primary data sources (secondary research, social media data, first-party behavioral data)
• Experience using or managing an online research community
• Experience with SPSS or R as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus
• Experience working on entertainment or technology consumer research
