Job Description
As the Manager of Audience & Analysis you will be critical to the evolution of our CDP, contributing directly to the unification of our 1st Party Data as well as converting anonymous users to known. This newly created role will accelerate our consumer audience data strategy. You will enable data driven decisions through planning, analysis and activation working in tandem with the marketing team on audience strategy as well as segmentation. This role sits within Consumer Revenue and works across all Hearst Magazine brands including Bicycling, Car and Driver, Country Living, Cosmopolitan, Delish, Elle, Elle Décor, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper's Bazaar, House Beautiful, Men's Health, Pioneer Woman, Popular Mechanics, Prevention, Road & Track, Runner's World, Town & Country, Veranda, Woman's Day and Women's Health.

What You'll Do
• As the CDP expert you will manage in-platform operations to support consumer marketing efforts
• Define data taxonomy required to support new use cases as well as broader 1st Party data attribution
• Configure business rules and audience segments for omni-channel marketing campaigns including syndication to respective 3rd parties i.e., ESPs and media partners
• Build attributes and audiences for CDP initiatives and events directly in-platform
• Integrate new marketing channels and data sources to CDP platform as needed
• Collaborate with tech teams to implement requirements aimed at identity resolution and personalization
• Partner with marketing stakeholders to build and optimize customer journeys/triggers to increase ROI
• Provide analysis to support audience + segmentation opportunities and future CDP use cases
• Identify new audience opportunities on both Editorial Sites and Shops to support revenue growth
• Use analytics to identify and enhance testing opportunities to optimize audience and marketing efforts
• Support broader consumer data strategy as it relates to 1st party data collection from owned assets, revenue attribution and data governance as well as tracking KPIs around audience growth
• Conceptualize and implement new processes to enable expansion of the CDP more broadly

Who You Are

3-6 Years of applicable experience is required including:
• Experience working with modern customer data platforms
• Experience in personalized and or lifecycle marketing operations
• Comfortable with SQL and working with disparate data sources
• Knowledgeable in Google Analytics, Looker and other analytics tools

Additional qualifications include:
• Able to analyze, interpret and visualize data into clear actionable insights or digestible reports
• Capable of working on large scale projects and day-to-day operational business requests
• Able to support the business solutions by identifying needs and implementing new processes
• Can works seamlessly across multiple brands & stakeholders to deliver and communicate results
• Self-starter with keen attention to detail who has a proven ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment

The base salary for this role is between $70,000 - $89,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
