The Job

WarnerMedia seeks a leader for the Growth and Revenue team in its DTC business unit. The VP, Revenue & Pricing role will be responsible for managing HBO Max revenue and subscriber performance through the analysis of pricing, promotions, and overall business cases. This includes the following:

The Daily
• Create business cases to analyze subscriber and financial impacts of key HBO Max initiatives
• Identify potential promotion/offer opportunities and work cross-functionally on execution and deployment
• Create and manage tests that inform revenue initiatives
• Work with Data Science to forecast subscriber behavior and tradeoffs
• Analyze acquisition and retention performance to quantify initiative impacts
• Partner with finance on key assumptions for subscriber and revenue planning
• Partner with Sales and Distribution on wide range of partnerships and promotions
• Stay up to date on industry and competitive landscape, best practices, and pricing dynamics
• Represent HBO Max with senior executives across WarnerMedia
• Manage team to achieve HBO Max goals

The Essentials
• 7+ years of media and/or direct to consumer subscription experience
• Extensive experience creating and analyzing businesses cases
• Management consulting and/or pricing experience preferred
• A deep knowledge of the video streaming business and the overarching Technology, Media, and Telecommunications space
• Confident leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others
• Takes action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
