The Job
The WBUK and Ireland Publicity department constantly strives to create and maintain a best-in-class position within the industry. The publicity team is tasked with strategically positioning and promoting but also protecting the launch of all WB titles.
The Senior PR Manager is a key strategic role with the PR team in the UK and Ireland leading on film lifecycle campaigns.
The Daily
• Lead on all PR strategy and implementation for a film's lifecycle including Theatrical, PVOD, EST and Physical with little supervision.
• Deliver campaigns for large, tentpole franchise titles whilst working over a diverse 20 title slate where all films demand bespoke, creative campaigns.
• Lead on content capture, press access and PR strategy for local acquisitions from unit through all windows.
• Have excellent digital, broadcast and print contacts and an understanding of the UK and Irish Media landscape with a celebrated track record in delivery of press coverage.
• Orchestrate influencer and tastemaker strategy
• Be a champion of innovation and change for the team identifying new opportunities for campaigns, process and the team within the Film and wider Entertainment Industries.
• Have experience in line managing direct reports and being an active support for the senior management on the team with staffing and team morale.
• Communicate fluently with the PR team, Senior Execs in EMEA and Burbank, Filmmakers and talent and external agency partners.
• Drive cross divisional working over key titles with the Franchise, TV, Catalogue and Games teams and wider Warner Media divisions.
The Essentials
• Extensive experience in Film publicity with the ability to implement and manage campaigns with limited supervision. Unit PR, TV, Games and Franchise experience is favourable.
• Highly self motivated and flexible, able to adjust working style in a constantly changing environment. Must be able to think on your feet and make quick/logical decisions
• Must be highly organized and able to plan both short and long term.
• Understands the importance of maintaining brand integrity
• Campaign budget management experience
