Job Summary/Description:

This is a part-time position primarily responsible for editing content for morning newscasts. You may also assist with other news-related duties. This is a weekend/ overnight position ideal for a talented visual storyteller looking for a foot in the door.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Edit video and graphics for newscasts
- Edit video and graphics for digital, social and streaming platforms
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Non-linear editing experience and/or coursework required
- Experience with ENPS and BitCentral systems a plus
- Must work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Experience and/or coursework in journalism, photojournalism preferred
- Must be independent and self-sufficient and work well with a team
- News is a 24/7 industry requiring schedule flexibility- this is a weekend overnight position and schedule will include working holidays
- Must provide a link to samples of your work
