Job Summary/Description:

WAFF-TV, has an exciting career opportunity to work as a Sales Assistant in the fun fast-paced television/digital industry.
Applicant must possess excellent verbal, written and administrative skills to facilitate the sales process in a deadline sensitive environment. A strong math aptitude, computer literacy and analytical strength are key attributes to a competitive salary and benefit package. Proficiency with Wide Orbit Traffic and Media Sales, PowerPoint, Word and Excel are preferred.

Duties/Responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
* Accurate order and copy entry and revisions in Wide orbit for broadcast and digital
* Contract maintenance and reconciliation
* Support Research with creation of sales one-sheets
* Act as liaison between WAFF Sales, Traffic, Marketing and Advertisers
* Campaign pre/post sales maintenance
* Provide support to Sales Management

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Sales Asst. Must have good communication skills and be able to interface with the sales team.
* Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
* Must be computer proficient and able to learn industry specific software and create sales presentations
* Broadcast and digital sales experience preferred
* College degree with emphasis in Advertising, Marketing or Business preferred
* Strong Microsoft office skills required, including Excel and PowerPoint
* Must be highly organized, dependable and detailed oriented
* Strong mathematical skills required
