Job Summary/Description:

Tupelo Honey is seeking a Crewing/Travel Coordinator (Indianapolis, IN or Remote Based Position)

The Crewing & Travel Coordinator will source, negotiate, secure, and schedule freelance crew, and provide crewing related services for both Studio and Remote Productions. This position will report to the VP of Remote Productions and Operations and work closely with production and operations staff.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Source, negotiate rates and terms, booking, and scheduling of all freelance crew for both Studio and Remote Productions
• Work through Tupelo Honey's internal crewing system to schedule, hire, and maintain our crewing database
• Book travel and lodging when applicable
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical crew positions for Studio and Remote TV Productions
• Email, track and maintain contractor work acceptance
• Create crew sign-in sheets, cross-check local crewer invoices for accuracy
• Assist with the distribution of show documents as needed to crew

Qualifications/Requirements:

Preferred Candidate Experience -
• Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis on communications
• Minimum (2) years' experience in a live-sports broadcast environment, preferably in a broadcast crewing capacity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAMS
• Knowledge of SAP Concur and Dropbox is also a plus
• Good knowledge of current broadcast industry crew contacts throughout the US; knowledge/relationships with outside broadcast industry crewing companies are a plus
Other Qualifications -
• Knowledge of current COVID-19 broadcast industry protocols
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and manage deadlines
• Strong sense of customer service
• Great organizational skills
