About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for an Assistant to support all areas of the team's ongoing public relations/corporate communications efforts. Additionally, this individual will support the Senior Vice President with administrative projects and tasks. This position reports to the Manager, Corporate Communications.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the compilation of the organization's daily news clips
• Create event recaps and media coverage reports for all business departments
• Execute PR strategy for Warriors Dance/Entertainment Teams & in-game entertainment
• Drive coverage for Warriors Heritage Night game/theme celebrations
• Execute morning/evening live shots at Chase Center
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and the media
• Assist with media relations needs at special events and public appearances
• Assist in all other aspects of the team's public relations and communications operation
• Provide assistance in other administrative duties including calendaring, mailings, expense reports and travel assistance for the Corporate Communications and Public Relations teams
• Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications/Journalism, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1 year of public/media relations experience, preferably within the sports industry; familiarity with NBA public relations practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills; strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain professionalism while working with athletes and media members
Compensation
• $20.00 - 21.00 per hour +Bonus
