The Events Assistant works across all events and fairs. Supporting the Head of Events this role works collaboratively across departments to assist with the production of events
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Work with the Social Media Editor to manage the day-to-day scheduling of content across Frieze social media channels using management tools (currently Falcon.io and Later) or directly in-app whenever necessary (including, but not limited to, Instagram Feed, Stories & Threads, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat/Weibo in collaboration with an external agency)
- Liaise with Branded Content, Editorial, Studios, Marketing and Partnerships teams to assist the production of social media content across all Frieze social channels, including, but not limited to:
o Briefing design assets, proof-reading text-led assets
o Sourcing images and stills (with the aid of the Image Researcher)
o Drafting copy in collaboration with the Social Media Editor and content teams, repurposing text and information from press releases and frieze.com articles
- Assist in maintaining automated weekly social media performance reports and stay on top of social media performance of monthly cover drops, tentpole events and key brand moments
- Assist the PR team by maintaining Frieze's social community by replying to comments and engaging with relevant content from the Frieze network of galleries and brands
- Support the Frieze Partnerships, Studios and Ad Sales teams, including scheduling content for Frieze partners and advertisers during busy Frieze Week periods, making sure all content meets contractual requirements between internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with the Image Researcher to ensure that all image courtesies are edited for suitable social media use (including tagging of galleries, artists or talent)
