Job Description
The Immigration Specialist reports to the Immigration Manager. The Immigration Specialist position provides comprehensive assistance to the Human Resources and Immigration Team at all levels of the immigration process.
Maintain databases and files while providing world class communication and service to staff and coworkers. Serve as the responsible person and coordinate all I-9's and the e-verify system. Assist in the processing of immigration petitions with the appropriate federal agency. Assist the Immigration Manager as directed.
Main Responsibilities
• Manage data entry and continued maintenance of date integrity.
• Open or close records/cases; maintain any and all records as requested by Immigration Manager including but not limited to: O-1B, L-1A/L-1B and H-1B's
• General administrative duties as needed.
• Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress/status/issues to Immigration
Manager.
• Follow up with client for outstanding documentation.
• Maintain client contact information.
• Update and manage status reports.
• Routine case monitoring and communication (i.e. USCIS, DOL, NVC, etc.).
• Create electronic and physical client files.
• Update client information in database.
• Maintain I-9/E-Verify database.
• Monitor status of cases, track expiration dates, run reports.
• Compose routine correspondence to clients.
• Provide additional administrative support to the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
• A minimum of three (3) years of strong knowledge of various visa processes, US immigration regulations, and practices.
• Bachelor's degree or commensurable experience.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and an empathetic and judicious approach to handling employee immigration concerns.
• Self-motivated and manages own time to ensure tasks are completed.
• Previous experience working with documents and using Docketwise is a plus.
• Ability to provide their own remote setup including a printer.
• Capability to work in a hybrid environment.
• This candidate be based within commuting distance to New York City, Los Angeles, or Chicago and may come into one of the Framestore offices on a hybrid basis.
• Salary Range For Individuals living in New York City or Los Angeles : $60,000-$65,000

The range is posted in accordance with the California and New York Pay Transparency Law. The range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of California or New York City. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
