FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the US These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX 10, Arizona's preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Digital Producer to join our dynamic team! Reporting to the Digital Content Director, the Digital Producer will be laser-focused on telling stories that matter most to the digital audience and doing it better than anyone else. RESPONSIBILITIES
Local journalism
• Work closely with assignment editors, reporters, producers, photographers and managers to publish, copy, edit and update articles, live streams, videos, and social media posts.
• Collaborate with others to strategize best practices and best platforms for live events, digital content, and compelling storytelling.
• Follow the highest standards of journalistic integrity when publishing, sharing, reporting, and developing news stories.
• Work with the FOX Television Stations' group content team to coordinate coverage of national stories.
• Write digital-original stories for our website
Video production
• Produce and curate high-quality videos for online platforms, including news stories, features, interviews, live streams, and promotional content.
• Optimize content for search engines to maximize visibility and organic reach
• Manage video library and layout of multiple platforms including news website, mobile app, FOX LOCAL connected TV app, and YouTube.
• Implement SEO best practices in video descriptions, titles, and tags to improve discoverability and drive traffic.
• Monitor video performance and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or related field with an emphasis on digital publishing, preferred.
• Proficient in content management systems, live streaming, and digital analytics tools.
• Video and photo editing experience (Adobe products a plus).
• Understanding of SEO principles and trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Superior news judgment.
• Impeccable writing and copy-editing skills.
• Thorough attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and quick turnaround
• Must be willing to work various shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
This is not a digital marketing position; you will be writing daily news content.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $49,279.00-59,279.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
