Vice President, Technology Operations

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Vice President of Technology Operations, you will be responsible for managing the Enterprise Technology teams that oversee all on-prem and cloud technologies, including all Fox collaboration platforms (O365, Slack, Quip, Box, Zoom), authentication platforms (OKTA and Active Directory), AWS Workspace, virtualization platforms, and all on-prem hardware infrastructure.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide planning and leadership over all Fox Enterprise operational platforms on-prem or cloud
• Serve as advisor/assistant to CIO on projects and operational processes including (but not limited to) technology selection, operating procedures, security policies, budgeting, and disaster recovery
• Partner with Fox News and Fox Television engineering teams to support virtualized and AWS environments
• Manage authentication platforms (OKTA, AD) and security policies for the Enterprise
• Maintain laptop/desktop imaging, patching, and endpoint protection (Tanium, Crowdstrike)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 15+ years of technology experience (OKTA, AWS, Active Directory, VMware, Server/Desktop Computing)
• 10+ years of management experience
• Effective project management experience
• Capable of managing several complex projects concurrently
• Technically versed in a variety of computing topics
• Able to effectively lead staff to deploy and support a wide range of technologies
• Able to communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing
• Able to prioritize tasks to meet the business requirements, constraints, and objectives
• Analytically and methodically skilled
• Possess short- and long-term planning abilities
• Well-rounded in both technology and business
