JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented freelance Tape Production Assistant to join our FOX News Live Washington, DC team on the weekends. As the Tape Production Assistant, you will help line producers execute their vision and always remain calm under pressure to create the perfect product that makes air.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cut, edit, and look over all video and soundbites that make it on air
• Work with line producers and writers to pick the best video
• Cut video on the fly
• Work with editors to ensure that everything is organized and will make the deadline
• You are the final set of eyes on every video that makes air

​ WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience with editing software
• A positive attitude
• Ability to work weekends
• 1-2 years of experience in television
• A passion for current events
• Willing and able to work under tight deadlines while juggling several tasks at once

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Bachelor's degree
