JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated Production Assistant to join ''The Ingraham Angle.'' This is a great opportunity to join a primetime program and one of the top shows on all of cable – an opportunity that will open untold jobs going forward.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Locate, cut (with and without editors) and organize video elements in the rundown; this includes the all-important ''Angle'' which is Laura Ingraham's monologue
• Order and build graphic elements
• Log interviews, news conferences & other news events
• Assist Producers with additional research
• Assist with greeting guests in NY
• Check-in remote guests in the NY control room

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience in news at an internship level
• Previous internship experience in the news industry
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a 24/7 breaking news environment
• Editorial judgment that allows you to identify pertinent elements

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• A Bachelor's degree
• Understanding of the news systems we use (Viz, Dalet, pre-cut)
