Freelance Production Assistant, FOX & Friends First

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Freelance Production Assistant to work with the Fox and Friends First team. As a Freelance Production Assistant, you should have a great sense of communication, and have the ability to work well on a team. You are used to working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing. You are someone who shows excellent news judgment, stays up to date on current events, and has a passion for the news. You will learn more here in 4 months on the job than you did in 4 years of college.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the greenroom
• Pitch and research story ideas, and see them through start to finish
• Interact with high profile talent, and all-level guests
• Produce guest segments and reporter hits while coordinating with studio and field crews

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Strong digital and social media skills
• Experience with video editing software

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Bachelors in Communications
• 1-2 years of live television experience
