JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a motivated Production Assistant to join the # 1 National Cable Morning Show, Fox & Friends. You will learn more here in 4 months on the job than you did in 4 years of college. The sky is the limit for someone eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced and competitive industry. As a Production Assistant, you will work to coordinate live guests, create content, and work closely with show producers. You are someone who is creative and has a competitive spirit.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interact with high-profile talent and all-level guests
• Coordinate remote live shots
• Create research packets for show segments
• Serve as quality control for video elements
• Produce guest segments and reporter hits while coordinating with studio and field crews
• Produce content for social media platforms
• Pitch story ideas and be willing to see them through from start to finish
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of TV news or communications experience
• Great communication skills, go-getter attitude, and ability to be a team player
• Strong digital and social media skills
• Willingness to pitch in on additional projects as needed

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $18.25-25.00 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
