JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Archive Licensing department is looking for a Production Assistant to join the team! This is a multifaceted production position encompassing both film research and sales administration roles. You will responsible for the inventory and the cataloging of tape-based assets in preparation for a file-based conversion as well as researching the Fox Archive collection and issue licenses for footage used in third-party productions.

You will be offered the following shift: Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Logging/Shipping
• Find, organize, inventory, long and ship tapes

Quality Control
• Confirm digitized material arrives at Fox Media Cloud
• View digitized material
• Conduct audio/video/quality checks for digitized material

MetaData
• Conduct meta-data checks of digitized material
• Optical Character Recognition check
• Excel sheet transfer check
• JPEG photo checks
• Search comparisons using same metadata vs two databases

Administrative
• Assist department in digitzing proof-of-concept administrative work
• Conduct data entry in Fox Media Cloud
• Project summary/results

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Da Vinci Resolve, Microsoft Excel, Filemaker
• Working knowledge of physical and digital media assets
• Understanding of metadata practices and of copyright
• Familiarity with CRM such as Salesforce
• Some physical labor is involved - packing and moving bankers boxes (approximately 25lbs) is required and candidates need to be able to move and sort these boxes
