JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News is looking for a standout Associate Producer/Booker to join the Fox News @ Night team in our LA Bureau! As an Associate Producer/Booker, you will secure interviews with newsmakers and pitch original story ideas. You know how to build contacts and develop unique sources. You are a proactive, passionate, and self-motivated individual who can handle breaking news well and effectively implement last-minute changes. You are a team player who works well with various editorial staff, guests, and technical teams.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Book guests under the deadline pressure of a daily live show
• Work collaboratively with co-workers to determine the best approach to securing high-profile interviews
• Conduct in-depth research and pre-interviews
• Pitch unique stories and guests of interest to our audience
• Coordinate and produce segments
• Research a wide range of electoral, political, international, and economic topics
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or relevant experience
• 3+ years of prior television (or similar) experience
• Ability to work independently or with a larger group as needs dictate
• Experience in a live control room
• Experience with I-News, Viz, and Dalet a plus
• Strong writing skills and editorial judgment
• A passion for current events
• Social media savviness

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $61,000.00-70,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
