JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and creative Production Assistant to join The Bottom Line with Dagen & Duffy on FOX Business. As a Production Assistant, you will help produce high-quality, one-of-a-kind materials including video montages and sots daily. Qualified candidates should have a strong creative sense/drive and a solid understanding of the storytelling process. You must also know how to balance/implement these skills in a collaborative editorial environment.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creatively conceive and select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to help tell a story
• Gather/organize material from various sources with varying degrees of complexity
• Oversee complex editing projects with a team of editors; offer insight and ideas to increase production value

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of prior television (or similar) experience
• Familiarity with industry-standard editing software, terminology, and common tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively with others under intense deadline pressure
• Ability to work independently and make smart decisions on your own
• Ability to understand and implement ideas described by others
• Willingness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism
• Knowledge of business news, politics, and current events

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $18.25-25.00 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
