Job Description
This position reports to the Vice President, Talent Development and Negotiations.

This position is located in Bristol, CT but we are open to other locations including but not limited to Los Angeles and New York.

Responsibilities:
• Lead negotiation and execution of renewals for current ESPN Talent across various sport groups and platforms as assigned (professional and college sports; linear, digital and social platforms)
• Proactively recruit non-ESPN Talent, identify current and future Talent needs, and negotiate and cast for open roles and/or potential future opportunities
• Implement innovative, competitive strategies for recruiting and retention of diverse group of Talent across all sports and platforms
• Establish relationships with content leaders to allow you to anticipate Talent needs, leading to proactive recruitment and pipeline build of key Talent
• Establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with Talent agents, managers and other industry professionals
• Communicate contract deal points to Legal and Production to ensure accurate adherence to terms
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information in strict confidence
• Develop deep knowledge of all ESPN content, including understanding the cadence of specific sport calendars, usage of Talent across all platforms
• Develop productive Talent relationships and serve as a resource to existing Talent to help ensure a positive Company experience

Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years of sports broadcasting industry experience
• A minimum of 5 years of (public facing) Talent negotiation experience
• Significant experience sourcing and recruiting on-air Talent
• Significant negotiating experience
• High level of trust and confidentiality to work with sensitive information daily

• On-Air Talent assessment and evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with public facing Talent for the four major professional sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL)
• Previous management experience or leading teams

Required Education
• 4 year college university degree

Preferred Education
• Masters Degree, MBA, or Law Degree
