Job Description
The Coordinator, Direct to Consumer Programming will be responsible for the integration and presentation of ESPN+ live content initiatives, ensuring accurate promotion of ESPN+ content across TWDC platforms. The Coordinator will also support the strategic scheduling and operations of ESPN+.

Responsibilities:
• Align integration and presentation of content with defined content strategy
• Maintain strong understanding of content portfolio and manage communication of key content initiatives, top events and storylines, and promotional assets and language to all stakeholders
• Facilitate internal collaboration and manage relationships with multiple departments including Production, PR, Marketing, Affiliate, Operations, Transmission, Editorial, and Product
• Maintain strong understanding of the linear schedule and on channel promotional opportunities to integrate live content across TWDC platforms
• Ensure accurate representation of content offering and promotion of portfolio across Marketing, Production, Editorial, and Synergy
• Measure results of all promotional executions to track efficacy of each program
• Manage complex legal requirements to ensure promotion aligns with obligations
• Contribute to the strategic scheduling of content to maximize subscriber growth, viewership, value and revenue.
• Prepare internal and external presentations in support of ESPN+ business
• Works as a member of the Programming Department at large to contribute to the overall scheduling and promotional strategy for the company across platforms. Proactively contribute innovative ideas to continue to grow our businesses

Basic Qualifications:
• Flexibility to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in the sports media industry, new media, marketing, television programming or production, and/or sports league/team/college conference environment
• General knowledge of ESPN's digital platforms
• General knowledge and passion for emerging competitive digital video products and platforms.
• General overall sports knowledge and understanding of the sports media industry
• Ability to work in a team-driven environment
• Strong communication skills; highly organized and efficient person
• Motivated to work in a complex and high energy environment
• Proficient computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with ESPN or other TWDC brand
• General familiarity with ESPN's scheduling system
• Understanding of ESPN internal structure

Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in communications, journalism, business, sports management or a related field.
