Job Description
In this role, the Operations Coordinator uses technical background and practical experience to secure and schedule mobile unit facilities for ESPN-produced events. This individual is expected to acquire working knowledge of all phases of departmental operations through orientation and observation and familiarize themself with the basic duties of those within the Mobile Unit Group.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Operations Management team in Bristol, CT
• Work with our mobile unit vendors to secure and schedule mobile units, update show specifications, and track costs.
• Work with Sr. leadership to properly track needed data.
• Approval of mobile unit invoices in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum one year of experience in related technical and/or operational planning roles, including ona-site management and production areas.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge of Smartsheets.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as there is a weekend on-call rotation schedule in place
Preferred Qualifications:
• Must be willing to take calls after hours, and on nights and weekends.
• Strong collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to balance the day-to-day workload, along with assisting last-minute time-critical adds or changes.
