About the Role & Team

The Executive Assistant I for Andscape is essential in supporting this content-passionate and fast-paced organization. With an umbrella that includes an editorial and digital media division, book publishing arm, film and television studio, and music publishing group, Andscape is a dynamic and intricate business within ESPN that seeks to apply its unique storytelling lens for a deep & dimensional audience.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the day-to-day workings of the VP, Andscape. This executive sets, leads, and drives Andscape's long-term strategic visions and goals within TWDC and beyond.

We need someone who has a deep understanding of the executive support role and a love for storytelling! You will need to have the ability to manage a wide array of administrative tasks, coordinate intricate projects, often spanning multiple business units and functions, and handle additional content-related responsibilities.

Every day in this role is different! On any given day you might:
• Coordinate and maintain the appointment calendars of the executives
• Gather and abstract materials for meetings, conferences and presentations
• Organize travel arrangements and related travel and entertainment expense reports
• Answer and screen incoming calls and review and categorize incoming correspondence / memoranda / emails
• Prepare routine correspondence, memoranda and e-mail responses
• Arrange receptions / lunches / dinners
• Attend staff meeting and record notes of such meetings
• Arrange visits / tours by representatives of clients / affiliates / sponsors / internal executives / regulators and legislators
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and tact
• Arrange and coordinate interviews of the executive with representatives of the media in conjunction with and approved by a Communications' publicist
• Interact with a wide variety of ESPN and external contacts

Required Qualifications & Skills
• At least 3 years of related administrative experience in generally comparable functions
• Proven advanced skills in communication and tact
• Able to work effectively with a diverse group and individuals
• Hold a sophisticated ability to organize work and to set priorities with basic multi-tasking skills
• Have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and databases

Preferred Qualifications
• Display a fundamental knowledge of the administrative processes carried of the executive(s) and those of the organization
• Experience in TWDC

Education
• Required: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $66,584.00 to $89,320.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
