Job Description
As part of the ESPN Compensation team, the Compensation Analyst assists in the implementation and administration of compensation programs such as salaries, short and long-term incentives, job evaluations and salary surveys that support the company's business strategy. Under regular guidance of a Compensation team lead, the Compensation Analyst will collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Enterprise partners to deliver comprehensive program management and guidance on compensation administration. The Compensation Analyst will also conduct and participate in internal and external market surveys to collect and analyze salary information.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluates and levels new and existing jobs
• Completes rate quotes for newly promoted and newly hired employees
• Conducts market benchmark assessments
• Supports compensation team during the annual planning process and promotion cycles
• Conducts and participates in external annual salary surveys to collect and analyze salary information
• Conducts basic compensation analyses and provides recommendations to the client
• Generates and audits various, recurring pay and job-related reports. Assists in design of non-routine reports to support needs of the Compensation team
• Provides input on requirements, as well as test new and updated compensation processes, systems and tools
• Documents internal processes and procedures
• Creates exhibits consolidating various sources for inclusion in larger presentations
• Maintains data quality/integrity within the HR system of record; liaise with internal partners to coordinate processing of mass job/pay changes

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years compensation experience
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel (proficiency in creating formulas, pivot tables, Vlookups and Macros)
• SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors and Cognos knowledge a plus
• Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details
• Strong analytical, project management and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must be well organized, have attention to detail, able to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Takes a proactive approach to daily work

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working SAP, Success Factors, Workday, Cognos and Access
• Knowledge of relevant federal, state and local regulations

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree - Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Business degree; or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
