What You'll Do
As Sr. Program Manager, Content & Online Safety, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the implementation of our content and online safety compliance initiatives within a complex, cross-functional environment. This involves creating implementation plans, procedures, and documentation to propel our efforts forward. Additionally, you'll oversee the process of ensuring consistent review of compliance requirements across our products and services, and verifying the operational effectiveness of relevant compliance safeguards. You'll also remain updated on evolving laws, regulations, and industry compliance standards to ensure alignment with best practices.
In this role, you will
• Utilize your program management expertise to minimize risks and translate content and online safety regulatory requirements into actionable plans for internal teams
• Develop and centralize cross-functional compliance reporting related to content moderation and online safety
• Ensure company processes incorporate content moderation and online safety risk management compliance requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as Business, Legal, Trust & Safety, Public Policy, and Engineering, and identify and assess potential compliance risks associated with content and online safety
• Ensure continuous alignment with business vision and roadmap, and execute by driving timelines, deliverables, and KPIs to support compliance requirements
• Communicate utilizing purposeful and effective strategies, both formal and informal, to provide visibility into risks and to drive a culture of compliance
• Clearly document processes, procedures, and controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement change management strategies and processes
What we're looking for
• 5+ years of experience in compliance or program management
• Experience working with a compliance controls framework
• Exceptional communication skills and experience working successfully in a global environment with a diverse group of colleagues
• A hard worker who is comfortable operating in a complex and dynamic environment; this person will be energized by big challenges and working with excellent people
• Passionate about doing the right thing
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience in compliance related to content moderation or the implementation or development of new regulations related to online safety a plus
• Expertise in Jira as a tool for program tracking a plus
This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
New York City Base Pay Range
$151,231 — $221,805 USD
California Base Pay Range
$142,157 — $208,496 USD
Washington Base Pay Range
$142,157 — $208,496 USD
