ENGINEERING - GAMES

What We Do

Unreal projects have been leading the pack of real-time entertainment with our constantly growing team of engineering experts. We're always improving on the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide.

What You'll Do

We're looking for a Build Programmer passionate about CI/CD, automation, and developer productivity to help build and maintain the infrastructure that powers Rocket League. You'll partner with engineering, QA, production, and infrastructure teams to create reliable, scalable build systems that enable developers to ship high-quality software efficiently.

In this role, you'll improve build pipelines, optimize developer workflows, and create tools that reduce friction across the software development lifecycle. Your work will directly impact how quickly teams can iterate, validate changes, and deliver world-class experiences to millions of users.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate with developers, QA, Production, and Release to optimize their workflows for Rocket League
• Design, maintain, and improve build automation systems and CI/CD pipelines for large-scale game projects
• Monitor build health, troubleshoot failures, and drive root-cause analysis to improve pipeline stability
• Own and support various tools and processes owned by the Rocket League Build Programming Team
• Support software releases by ensuring build systems remain reliable and responsive during critical milestones

What we're looking for

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern build automation systems
• Strong understanding of software build systems, dependency management, and release engineering best practices
• Proficiency with languages such as C#, Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate development workflows
• Experience with version control systems such as Perforce or Git
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and administering Windows-based build environments; Linux experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer productivity
