PRODUCTION ASSISTANT - PART-TIME - KCBS-AM Newsroom

• Writing and editing newscast/wire copy for broadcast.
• Interviewing newsmakers for news stories.
• Fact checking news stories and researching news topics.
• Light production duties as required.
• Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Must be computer literate and have excellent writing skills. Knowledge of the broadcast area and station demographics is essential; 4 year degree in journalism preferred
