Activation Manager - Sports Betting

Entercom is seeking an experienced media professional for a key role in a growing department. We are looking for an energetic, passionate and solutions-oriented individual to help us improve our ability to flawlessly execute the innovative, multimedia, multi-market campaigns we deliver to our customers. Our team has an exciting start-up feel supported by the confidence and resources of a well-established media company.

The Entercom portfolio consists of broadcast, streaming and on-demand audio, including our industry leading podcast network, as well as assets and capabilities that include social, video, OTT, email, search, display and experiential advertising.

This opportunity can sit in our New York office or any of our corporate office locations. (Note: We are still virtual at this time.)

Activation Manager Responsibilities:
• Previous project management experience in the media and/or sports field a must
• A well rounded knowledge of media account management and implementation
• A passion for sports and a strong understanding of sports betting and sports analytics analysis
• Experience dealing with varies levels of professionals in a corporate environment
• Ability to help create processes and provide insight to help successfully build a division
• Monitor and own project deliverables, track and monitor progress
• Prepare and present project status reports to internal teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be highly skilled in presenting and building presentations
• Support all company divisions in delivering the highest level of work & client service
• Must be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
• Build and foster positive relationships with key team members from entry level to executive level internally and externally
• At times, flexibility to work hours early or late as required by deadlines

Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree
• 5+ years of sports marketing and media experience at an ad agency, brand, team or publisher
• Ability to learn quickly and apply learnings to future projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence in operating under deadline, handling last minute requests and multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to work across departments
• Experience with sports content development and / or sports programming experience
• Strong desire to learn about all Entercom product offerings
• Experience with Wide Orbit, DFP, Triton, Strata preferred
• Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
