Job Description
This Manager will be responsible for generating sponsorship revenue and corporate support within the US market for SailGP (League, US events and US team).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Effectively mine new business leads through active monitoring of industry news and relationships across the Endeavor network to maintain an active pipeline of opportunities within the North American market for US events, US team and for the League.
• Work closely with and manage relationships with the internal sales support functions including Sales Operations, Endeavor Analytics and Creative services to ensure resources are being utilized effectively throughout the entire sales process.
• Support the existing sponsorship sales team at SailGP and the dedicated IMG Strategic Partnerships Director improve the partnership portfolio that the series has in place.
• Create prospect lists and assist with outreach in order to generate face-to-face meetings to and new client relationships.
• Develop partnership narratives and accompanying presentations that demonstrate strong brand fit and value alignment with SailGP.
• Support and work closely with the Strategic Partnerships Director to ensure that commercial partnerships are aligned with event brand objectives.
• Deliver a consultative and tailored service to the client that meets all objectives stated in order to build long lasting client relationships.
• Continually update both SailGP & Endeavor CRM systems, to ensuring accurate and reliable pipeline information is included for the Sales Teams and Executive reporting.
• Work collaboratively with the wider IMG sales team in the region.
• Maintain a good knowledge of competitor events and relevant sponsorships.
• Any other duties that are within scope of the role may be required.

Key Objectives:
• The ability to demonstrate clear understanding of the Partnerships sales process – including but not limited to prospecting, proposal development and creation, negotiation, and contracting.
• History of developing high value partnerships for properties and events.
• Excellent application and knowledge of sponsorships and brand activation.
• Significant understanding of CRM and participation in sales tracking.
• A sound working knowledge of the sponsorship/partnership/events marketplace including but not limited to: common industry vernacular and terminology, competitive intelligence, data analytics/performance metrics and sponsorship value measurement.
• Self-motivated, resourceful individual with a strong working knowledge of the digital, mobile and social media spaces and how marketers are utilizing these platforms.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Knowledge and Experience:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong people management skills
• Ability to perform independently and proactively while working in team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to build long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the Entertainment and Events Industry is preferred

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing or sales related field or equivalent experience
