Job Responsibilities
• Partner as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) subject matter expert by giving perspective, insights, and knowledge in a consultative manner to stakeholders across the business.
• In collaboration with the IAC, create a long-term plan focused on broadening the organizational view of DEI
• Research DEI best practices to develop metrics, and reporting systems that effectively nurtures a best-in-class organization.
• Maintain and manage existing DEI tools to ensure data is up to date and accurate.
• Manage external partnerships with community partners and universities that facilitate diverse pipelining opportunities.
• Lead community impact activities including, but not limited to, volunteering, collaborations, and strategic sponsorship agreements.
• Collaborate with the Recruiting team to ensure the way we select and hire candidates is built into our central conscious inclusion plan
• Teaming with EC Production Executives, Co-Productions, Third Parties and Acquisitions staff to support our productions and ensure we are establishing an inclusive and diverse environment across all areas.
• Develop a preferred vendor list that focuses on BIPOC businesses which can then be incorporated into our Production Manual, and or live in a database that our studio partners, shows, and executives have access to.
• Ensure the existing DEI programs and resources are being utilized across EC (e.g. Staff Me Up, Impact on Set, and the Inclusion Rider)
• Stay abreast of new productions and shooting locations to anticipate potential DEI opportunities and concerns.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
• 5-8 years of experience in field of diversity
• Deep knowledge and interest in issues of global diversity and inclusiveness, anti-racism, equity, and cultural competence
• Experience operating with a global mindset with respect to issues of diversity and inclusiveness
• Sensitivity to cultural and ideological diversity, particularly around identity of disenfranchised groups (i.e. gender, race, class, ability, sexual orientation, and other forms of identity)
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage leaders, peers, and direct reports to achieve ambitious and transformative results
• Strong public speaker
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Must be objective and maintain confidential information
• Maintains a sense of humor and a collaborative, ''one team'' working style

• POC for HBCU in LA programming
• Maintain Diversity and Inclusion Community Toolkit
• Moderator of the Content Plan and Quarterly departmental meetings to evaluate DEI metrics for each department
• Leverage current database partnerships and identify new opportunities
• Program Monthly Activations relevant to DEI -Black History Month, AAPI, Mental Health Awareness, etc.
