Job Overview

The Associate Manager, Content and Social Media will play a critical role within IMG Fashion Events & Properties' digital team. The Associate Manager will be responsible for the developing and maintaining IMG Fashion's social content strategy for all owned channels - @FashionWeek, @NYFW, @MADE, and @IMGFocus across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly motivated individual who has a demonstrated interest in social media marketing and fashion with a diverse knowledge of platforms and best practices. The Associate Manager, Social Media will execute the day-to-day publishing, optimization, community management and monitoring of IMG's owned digital channels. During tentpole events, this role will be very hands-on in content distribution, as well as ensuring each channel maintains topical and timely social coverage, ensuring that each channel's brand standards, designer needs, and sponsor goals are met.

This role provides support to the department's Associate Director, and reports into the Executive Director Digital, Content and Strategy.

• Crafts content calendars that reflect and evolve @NYFW, @FashionWeek, @MADE, and @IMGFocus brand identities and promotes our events
• Schedules & posts all social media content, interpreting community signals to know what stories, medium, and content will be the right fit for each channel
• Strong copywriting skills to craft social media copy in accordance with brand voice
• Reacts to relevant, current events, integrating timely content and posts that align to cultural happenings into IMG feeds
• During events, assists in overseeing seasonal freelance social media managers to ensure each channel stays on-schedule and on-brand, executing real-time coverage
• Optimizes all posts in accordance with current platform-endemic strategies and brand guidelines
• Supports internal teams by ensuring department's social needs are integrated into our editorial strategy and calendar
• Owns community management across all channels including community interaction, comment moderation, as well as proactively encouraging an ongoing dialogue to develop audiences
• Ensures all social channels regularly engage with designers, sponsors, talent and influencers
• Drives account growth across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and emerging platforms
• Performs regular social media reporting, interpreting data and community signals to evolve content strategy. Ensues reporting is regularly shared with organizational counterparts
• Supports the roll out of paid media campaigns, ensuring that goals are met, on schedule and on budget

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in content creation or social media
• Passionate about Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube; as well as emerging platforms, tools and growth strategies
• Basic understanding of social measurement tools
• Experience with Lightroom, Canva, Photoshop, and InDesign preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly skilled in fostering a collaborative work environment and building meaningful relationships
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Must be amenable to flexible schedule based on seasonal, event and activation needs
