THE ROLE

This position requires a dynamic, competitive, hard working sales leader with a successful track record in sales of hospitality packages and solutions in sports organistations / events. This position represents one of the key sales functions in the organization and is responsible for helping the organization meet its overall financial goals while delivering the highest levels of customer service to corporate clients and premium package buyers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILTIES

Primary Responsibilities
• A core part of the On Location sales structure, this role will create, launch and execute a successful Paris 2024 Olympics corporate and premium sales strategy including the recruitment of a world class sales team.
• Responsible for dynamic, proactive selling of both off the shelf packages via online and offline channels and for bespoke, complex hospitality packages for Paris 2024.
• Generate hospitality sales for Paris 2024 Olympic Games and for other global events
• Manage annual revenue targets, ensuring all KPI's are achieved. Including (but not limited to) call stats, meetings, initiatives, lead generation and new business revenue.
• Negotiate closure of all sales and manage handover to Guest Experience Team
• Build effective business relationships with Corporations and Premium Consumers throughout the American markets.
• Nurture and maintain long lasting relationships to drive referrals and repeat business across the On Location portfolio
• With the sales management team, propose an effective B2B and B2C market penetration strategy in order to maximize the On Location sales reach in each territory.
• Ensure perfect CRM management, lead qualification, sales reporting and an extremely strong post sales upsell / cross sell strategy.
• Be ready to propose sales strategy modifications during the sales process to maximize sales and margin.
• Where needed, collaborate effectively with other On Location teams and with the United States teams.
• Sales will be driven through pro-active prospecting activities including, but not limited to, outbound phone calls, emails, sales-related events and meetings.
• The candidate will be required to achieve individual and team sales goals to be determined.

Travel

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays. International travel may be required throughout the year, including periods of remote work within local offices within host cities. This position may require some European travel. A valid passport is mandatory.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years sales experience in a sporting environment and in hospitality sales roles.
• Proven track record in sales and of achieving/exceeding targets
• Experience of the corporate hospitality marketplace
• Experience of strategic prospecting and cold calling at an Executive and C Suite level
• Strong Communication, Presentation and Written Skills
• Established relationships and database with key corporate clients
• Negotiation and influencing experience
• Ability to proactively network and to initiate and drive sales with limited hands-on guidance
• Target driven
• Team player
• Able to work well under pressure
• Able to demonstrate agility in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively manage pipeline
• High level of motivation
• Happy to be coached / open to taking constructive feedback onboard and applying it
• Sales Force CRM expertise, Asana and Excel.
