The Role and What You'll Do:
Our agency is seeking Producers for both our Hair/Makeup and Photography divisions on an ongoing basis. Candidates must have strong communication skills in order to effectively help Agents to support short term and long-term goals. Candidates must be willing to travel for certain positions and be capable of communicating with our artists and manage their schedules in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment. All producers for Art + Commerce must be strong communicators with a natural ability to manage a wide range of tasks successfully. Applicants should be self-motivated, proactive, team player s that are highly organized and detailed oriented .
Candidates must have at least 5 - 7 years of production and in-office experience as well as proven past relationships with successful working artists in the caliber of the artists represented by our agency.
• Daily support and communication with agents, artists, other producers, clients, assistants and vendors
• Attending meetings and shoots when necessary
• Oversee booking and production
• Creating estimates and updat ing options
• Creating and managing budgets, negotiating fees , and expenses
• Updating artist calendars and managing travel , hotel, and additional needs
• Managing portfolios and update artist online portfolios
• Accounting management (billing and wrapping jobs )
• Running personal errands and scheduling personal appointments
For Hair & Makeup:
• Managing artist and assistant schedule during show season
• On-site show production support
• Ongoing travel may be required throughout the year for extended periods of time during fashion show seasons.
You Have These:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional working experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree with a strong passion and interest in learning contemporary photography, art, fashion and publishing industry.
• Previous experience supporting agents or executives in-office and on set as a liaison with artists, talent , and producers.
• Strong communicator, problem solver, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage difficult situations
• Must have the ability to maintain a professional manner with high level clients and artists at all times .
• Knowledge of working photographers, stylists, set designers, and hair + makeup artists.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a pro-active team player in various working environments.
• Ability to multi task under pressure while keeping a positive attitude.
• Acute sense of discretion when working with high-level clients and artists.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and various calendar management programs.
• Depending on role, must be willing to travel and work long days, early mornings, evenings, and weekends to support fashion events for artists.
Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Range Minimum:
$79,500 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$106,000 annually
